When I was 12 or 13 years old I read a short story (couple of paragraph), a girl meets boy scene that my sister had written. I decided to write my own little scene. I realised there was a lot I wanted to say and so I just kept writing and before long there was a “book” (well I say book; it was probably a short story). It felt like a book to me I was young, I had 65 pages handwritten back to back, and it had taken me over 18 months to finish. I knew then that writing was my thing.
I’m a Zimbabwean-born British writer. I live in Southampton with my wife Vimbai and two children Zoe-K and Zac.
